What do the Brilliant People see as a solution for this terrorist group, one which has blown up Americans as well, holding control of a section of country north of Israel, fortifying and arming that area in violation of the U.N. resolution, and going out to kidnap soldiers for ransom?

Please try and keep the U.N. out of it. The U.N. already has a "force" there, apparently to take notes. According to some sources, members of this force have actually assisted Hezbollah in few cases in return for bribes.
