Beat all the drums, wave all the flags and it still won't alter the reality the there is no such thing as the "terrorist mentality."
To wake you from your obvious Bush induced tupor, terrorist are not just Arab. Surprise, surprise. In Tampa yesterday 39 members of the Latin Kings were arrested. They have certainly as much claim to being terrorist as any group on the face of the earth. The Irish Republican Army and the Irish Republican Army Provisionals have claims that rival Al Quaeda. The Aryan Nation, Black September, FLN, Sendero Luminoso, and many others that I could list for you have just as valid claims. And, if you really want to start to understand what is going on we could go to state terrorism with the death squads and the Disappeareds of the Right wing terrorist of Latin America.
In short, stop frothing at the mouth over "Islamic-fascist terrorist" and thereby giving them a monopoly on terrorism. If there ever was developed a defined terrorist mentality it would be a wonderful thing, and I am sure we understand it the same week we have that motor that runs on water and gets 100 miles to the gallon.
It is very frustrating to hear intelligent people buying into pure self-serving propaganda. Understanding the situation, solving the problems, and ever getting solutions are neatly avoided in a sea of rhetoric that way. And the only result is fear and a national paranoia.
Shape up David, you are far too intelligent to allow yourself to be suckered into this trap.
