It does make me better than them, because I'm honest
I'll cite an example I read recently about a muslim leader who apparently had a PhD in engineering. This is ludicrous because someone with a PhD should have the rational capacity to dismiss religious dogma. I refuse to acknowledge that person's level of education, and/or his honesty, because something is not right about it. And yet, we have people like Osama Bin Ladin, who apparently I've read also has a degree in civil engineering. How can it be possible that someone so educated is also a devout religious fanatic? I've come to the conclusion that they are either lying about their education, or they simply want power over others, and religious people are easy prey.
