"Figured it wouldn't be worth the trouble." is a bit ambiguous. In the context of your complaints that you're beating your head against the wall and that nobody listens to you, you might be implying that I'm being close-minded.
If the charges were true, it would be a serious matter. Issues of freedom of religion come solidly into play, and investigation and possible remediation would require the utmost care, probity, and discretion. Allegations not backed up by solid evidence must be taken with a grain of salt. OTOH, the issue has been raised before the Senate, and undoubtedly less publicly through official security channels. Logic suggests that if there were anything to this, it would have already been brought to light. Schwartz testified in 2003; a lot of time has passed since then.
My skepticism is based solidly on objectivity and a proper appreciation of the gravity of the allegation.
