Belief doesn't imply lying.

It can imply cognative dissonance.

You can be angry at what people do and still maintain a respect for their humanity. You can't make a blanket classification of millions of people with sufficient specificity to maintain that respect. Furthermore, you will never understand the motives of those whose actions make you angry as long as you cloud your judgment with prejudice, so your chances of affecting change are greatly diminished.

You can try to stake out moral high ground for yourself by creating an artificial category of truthfulness in which you claim to know the inner workings of millions of people's individual minds based on the working of your own.

You won't reach the moral high ground you seek as long as you're trying to justify your hate as superior to someone else's. Hatred is hatred. The causes are many. The results are corrosively the same.
