There were disagreements between the apostles about spreading Jesus’ teachings.
Two of them, Matthew, Mark, Luke or John (I don’t remember which two- I am certainly not a scholar in this) had big disagreements, which lead to the forming of different churches. I think that is why Christianity has so many different churches today.
But the basic message of them all is the same. Unfortunately many of them get so rapped up in other things, they seem to forget what teaching of Jesus is important.
