Never thought of it like that, but I can see your ideology.

In a similar way we could say that this is Hell, since we are being punished for smething wrong we have done. And after comes Heaven, because we will not be judged again.

I would like to mentin an episode with my grandmother.
Pure devoted Catholic. Grandpa and her always made big donations to their local Church.
At a banquet to celebrate the latest round of donations, my Grandmother was offered a glass of white wine. She never drank from it, but when she brought the glass to her lips, she lost conscience. She dropped to the floor with no pulse and no sing of life remaining in her.
There was a doctor at the banquet that performed CPR on her, and after a couple of horrifing minutes she came back to us, and lives today to tell the story.
I was a young curious boy when I asked her what she saw and felt during thos 2 minutes.

"The first thing I felt was my body feeling so good and relaxed, it was great!!" she told me.
"Then I realized that I was thinking! I could actually have thoughts. I decided to open my eyes. It was all bright white, very bright, but my eyes where not hurting. I thought this was an incredible place, finally peace."

Since then I always thought death didn't sound so scary after-all.
