They look as bright as army flares would be over the town. I wonder if there's a base near by. Plus, at that close range, you should be able to see the smoke trails they produce. And they sink to the horizon, not move in pods synchronistically.
Should be interesting what the follow up is.
Don't trust government special ops. But I can see how that could be frightening to onlookers.
