Most people who criticize Rumsfeld have no real idea what the hell they're talking about, but are simply reflecting popular opinion.
What a crock of shit. Obviously your feeble attempt to avoid the point. But let's just PRETEND for a moment that is the case, what of the people who DO know what they are talking about? All the retired Generals for example who say he mismanaged the war; refused to put enough troops on the ground to ensure order; refused to acknowledge this misake for years while Americans and Iraqis continued to die; ignored his generals who warned again and again of this bad policy; got our nation into a clusterfuck of a mess because he was too arrogant to admit his mistake!
I think you are a nice guy Tom, but one of the most aggravating things about you is your refusal to address the point when it doesn't favor you opinion. Did Rumsfeld fuck up or not? (You know the answer in your heart and mind. Admit it, lie about it, or continue to avoid it).
