Your POV does not stand to reason, but as a belief its perfectly valid and I don't argue against your right to hold it. Just as some people have a right to believe in space aliens, anal probes and a flat or hollow earth.

However, what you don't have, in my view, is the right to insist that others live by your beliefs.

Also, in my universe, beliefs with absurd conclusions or that are silly are inherently of less value than beliefs that are systematically rational and coherent and don't lead to absurd conclusions. Thats because I count myself as a rationalist and a scientist.

I've demonstrated an argument whereby if we accept your premises I can show that not only you are inconsistent in your actions or feelings, but that absurd conclusions have to be drawn. I have not seen you counter it, nor have I seen you able to offer up anything resembling proof that 'life begins at conception'. I don't know for a fact where human life begins. You obviously don't either. Therefore, I'll act in the way that respects your beliefs and not pass any laws. You won't.
