Social Revolutions

Nicely put. The fifties were calm. Level headed.
Middle class suburbia America.
Then the Beatles, the Rolling Stones and the MUSIC revolution.
Then the Vietnam war
And psychedelics.
Then the mental and emotional revolution.
It was riveting and life changing for those who went through it.
Except for the "squares".
All within five years.
The kids of today think "revolution" means tattoos and ear piercings. They accept this war of attrition like buttered pancakes and syrup.

Where's Bob Dylan when you need him?
