To be quite honest, I'm not a big fan of Democracy. Sure, we are conditioned like Pavlov's dogs to salivate at the very mention of the D word, but in reality Democracy is only somewhat better than certain alternatives - namely fascism, monarchies and dictatorships.
Universal suffrage is a bunch of hooey. That just creates decisions and elects folks that appeal to the lowest common denominator (LCD).
An LCD approach to government is fostered by the crooks and exploiters who seek office and power and need bodies/dupes.
I would be overjoyed to see a test employed to filter voters. A body temperature and pulse just isn't enough to qualify a voter in my book.
A simple 6 question test:
1) What is the year the United States was founded?
2) What's the name of the first US President?
3) Identify and check the box next to the US Flag:
(US FLAG) [] (MEXICO FLAG) [] (CANADA FLAG) []
4) What's the sum of 22+22?
5) Name any US State:
6) A bird is a:
(Crawling insect) [] (Flying animal) [] (Disease) []
A score of just 50% on the above test qualifies your vote.
Filtering out the drooling contingent of the electorate is essential to lifting the quality of government and candidates for office. Disenfranchising unqualified folks is a noble act any true humanitarian, with a nation's best interests at heart, should desire.
We have no problem requiring drivers' take tests before they get their licenses, and the fate of our nation is far more important than the mere safe operation of a motor vehicle.
Millions are guided into voting booths with lists and they can't even read the voting cards, they simply check the box next to the Democrats name they have had written out for them by those who are hired to bring and shove unqualified voters into booths for their candidate.
Universal suffrage is high sounding nonsense. It's just a con for the unqualified candidates to collect and distribute power in a self-perpetuating scam at the expense of a nation.
Disenfranchisement is needed more than ever - in fact, it may be the only way this nation can be saved from destruction and dissolution.
One of the reasons capitalism has become predatory is because of universal suffrage and the LCD effect of electing lower quality, bribable politicians. Antitrust laws have been completely ignored and merely sit on the books without being used.
You push for more universal suffrage, millions of Democrats seek the illegals enfranchisement and they only succeed in slashing their own throats so the Democrat politicians can drink and play in their blood.
No, "universal suffrage" is just like "all men are created equal" - a poorly worded phrase that when taken literally destroys all it's value.
