The software is a kludge, so I find it easiest to construct title lines by adding an HTML paragraph instruction on the first line I want to be the title: (p)Title Line(/p) except with arrows instead of parentheses. This allows you to edit it later.

Unfortunately, sometimes you have to re-edit to get it to stick.
