I haven't watched any of the debates live, and don't intend to. The debates and the "marathon election coverage," both by the mainstream media, have one function: the crowning of the Democratic candidate and the destruction of his or her opponent. Regardless of who they are, what they've done, or who would make a good president.
It's what's been happening for quite a while now in national elections.
It was refreshing to see that point specifically made during the debate, and this seems to have been what most people remember about it now.
I correct myself on a previous statement: I would watch a Ted Cruz/Hillary debate. With popcorn.
Stick around, Buck. I remember you as one of the few who acted as though objective reality was a factor in a political argument.
