3) Most everyone is clueless

The corporations fund competing studies to protect their own industries. One oil company will fund a wildlife group to protest the ecological damage another oil company (their competition) is doing somewhere else.

A big find of oil in the gulf of Mexico? Sabotage a rig and create a big oil spill that damages that companies safety record so other companies can successfully bid for local drilling rights.

Fracking in Ohio? A US energy independent of mid-east oil? OPEC nations will fund all sorts of studies and spread the money around through every channel to thwart it legislatively.

Big oil reserves found in Greenland. Greenland wants independence from Denmark? Send photographers and 'researchers to show Greenland is melting!

'Climate change' is propaganda warfare to control people, companies and nations.

Read the hyperbole in your own links "ice recovers to 6th lowest extent in a millennia"

A hundred years ago - let alone a thousand no one was measuring anything. In 1915 they didn't have the machinery or the transportation to do anything in the arctic besides record some temperatures. These idiots are laughing out loud as they write this garbage.

And all the changes that are occurring have to do with the movement of the magnetosphere - the north magnetic pole takes incoming high energy solar particles with it. Those particles break down ozone and speed up melting of ice. As the ozone reforms the ice refreezes and the cycle begins again.

Corporate pollution has nothing to do with that arctic melting - its TOTALLY driven by solar wind and the flow of those high energy ionizing particles along the magnetosphere into the north magnetic pole region.
