So you think I'm projecting my own views onto the Founders? I notice that you didn't actually dispute my assessment of their values and beliefs, only fired off some chaff about projection. If the American Revolution wasn't all about smashing the power held by a small number of aristocrats and dispersing that power out to the people, then what, pray tell, did we fight it for?
Your history is a bit weak. Don't confuse George Washington with Che Guevera. You actually think the Founders were all about universal egalitarianism? Look up the qualifications for voting at the time.
It took a lot more fighting to get power out to all the people in this country, and almost two hundred more years.
To mint a new breed of modern aristocrat that inherits power through a trust fund instead of a hereditary title?
Your views of the wealthy in this country are based solely on the cartoons you carry in your own mind. I've posted statistics on earned vs. inherited wealth in America more than once. I shouldn't need to do it again.
Did we spend the last two centuries building America only to have it liquidated by Big Business as they cash out and move on to greener pastures?
Who's this "we?" I know you think the wellsprings of prosperity in this country flowed out of Washington. I don't.
