While carefully keeping the bat on my shoulder as the ball drifts slowly across the plate, I can offer some advice on posting that I learned from experience.
Stick your name on the post absolutely last, when you're sure the post is ready to go. The board won't take a post with that box blank, so you can't mistype and send it off before you're ready.
My nemesis was a "return" key right next to the quotation mark key, and the name trick solved that.
And don't forget the "HTML preview" button, which has saved my bacon many a time.
