If you tell folks "not to pray in temples as the heathen do", you are taking away the Jewish temple power structure. That's a big no-no and so Jesus had to be shut up permanently before some Jews found themselves out of work.
That thousands of religions were eventually founded in the name of a guy who was bashing organized religion, with concepts he learned while studying with the Essenes, and trying to turn people to solve their own problems and seek their "father within" is one of history's most horrific ironies.
Jesus was destroying Father Abraham's cult from the inside out with Essenic knowledge and had to be stopped. The rest, as the saying goes, is a lot of rewritten history.
