Prechrist Christians

While I agree that woman is about as dumb as they get, the argument for prechrist Christians is not unheard of, but I'm sure this isn't what the woman in the article was getting at.

Mormons (of which I am one) believe Adam was the first Christian. Not that he called himself a Christian, but that he knew of Christ and the key role he would play. And furthermore that Christ is the Jehova (Lord) spoken of in the old testament, was party to the creation, and would stand as judge in the end. This knowledge was passed down through the generations, and all of the Old Testament prophets that belonged to the house of Isreal, not only knew of Christ, but also prophesied of him. There is actually plenty of evidence in the Old Testament to support this. To which the New Testament dovetails nicely with it.

It isn't only mormons that hold this doctrine. I have spoken with Messianic Jews who also hold it as a key part of their doctrine.

Traditional Judaism is rich with messianic prophesies. Where they differ is that they don't believe Christ fulfilled those prophesies, because he did not free them from the Roman oppression of the time as some of the prophesies indicated he should. Instead Christians believe he freed them from a different sort of oppression, that of death and sin. Fox can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe even modern or mainstream Judaism still has tenants of messianic deliverance in its doctrine.
