I'm sorry, Eri. That doesn't happen often, but when you're "it", it stings and the odds are no consolation.
Tom gives good advice on Zone Tips-n-Tricks. About all I could add is that in addition to using the right-click menu to go back, you can also press Alt+[left arrow key]. Useful to know for those rare times when the mouse acts up too.
You mentioned Netscape and reinstalling it if "it's still out there". That sounds like one of the very old, very obsolete, versions of Netscape Navigator, like version 4. Don't do it! That browser's so old, most of the Web sites on the Net nowadays will fall apart before your very eyes. As will this one.
What's left of Netscape the company lingers on in a sort of undead state in an obscure corner of AOL. Just to keep the brand alive, they've taken the same core browser that powers FireFox and slapped the Netscape name on it. That'd be Netscape 6+. Because it's virtually identical to FireFox, it'd be OK. But please, stay away from the old Navigators, for the sake of your sanity (and mine).
