Everyone wants to kill their boss at some time or another. Having the blessing of Allah can only help motivate you. Also, could it be significant these folks are Pakistani, not Arab?

Even the weapons stockpile and combat gear doesn't necessarily mean anything. Maybe they were survivalists--or Minuteman wannabees. You could say the same thing about John Dear.
