Appreciate your insights
I've thought for a while that Smartgun tech looked promising, but I'm not a gun owner. I included it in my post just as an example of a viable option. We all know there are others as well, but personally I have no confidence whatsoever that this country will ever be prepared to engage in an open, honest discussion. The gun biz will make sure that the only path available to us will be to introduce more guns--onto the streets, into schools and workplaces. The gun lobby tells us that when everyone is a badass, no one is a badass. I suppose our children, or their kids, will find out.
