...we owe the modern world to robber baron industrialists and sweat shops. I praise both to high heaven!!
You can return to the middle ages if you like or some hellhole of a third world nation where universal poverty is the expectation of every class except the tinpot dictator/warlord of the hour/month/year/decade.
The alternative to sweat shops is slave labor. You can go to Africa and parts of Asia to see how that's working out.
The immoral notions of morality of liberals and their amnesty for illegals, the minimum wage which FORCES both outsourcing and illegal exploitation to create further poverty in the US and other forms of "ignorant compassion" has caused the "daycare generation", the two parents with two job workforce and the further dumbing down of the schools. You may have no kids to directly measure the decline out there but you will reap the consequences of the "daycare generation" nevertheless.
The workers are workers for the same reason the 3rd world is the 3rd world - education finds its own level. No magic wand CAN EVER spread sustained wealth to those incapable of generating it.
Wake up.
