They say Japan leads the world in Mbps price at $3.00. I had to look up the original file to find out they were talking monthly period. And then they say the US pays over $12.00 for the same Mbps? I have 100 Mbps connection at a monthly rate that should be $1200.
Uh...nope. Not paying that. And I'm not paying the Japanese rate of $300 per month either. No, my Mbps price is about $1.50 - half the rate Japan is supposedly paying.
If that is the level of accuracy found in most of those charts I'd say they were pulled out of some guy's --- in Paris to make the socialists look good...
I don't have the time to properly Fisk it, but that's just the tip of the iceberg, I'm certain.
