What's your point then?

I assumed you were saying people were being wasteful if they arel driving large vehicles when they don't need all the room all the time. I pointed out that a larger car can handle all the jobs, while a small car can only handle small car jobs.

I don't know what "5 and 6 passenger vehicles around with lots of storage" means. That they're available to borrow when you need one? That I should buy a small car and rent a big one every week or so when I need to haul plywood, kids, or luggage?
