Sometimes one, then the next and finally, the last. This election has gotten a lot of people invested in politics; maybe the country is waking up finally. I'm praying for a record turnout overall. How can the majority rule if only a few vote?
What I learn is what the opposition thinks and why. I see that almost 100% of people will twist things to their own advantage to fit their way of thinking.
But when people are tired of doing the Twist, I hope they'll vote for Obama/Biden because
1. I'm sick of War
2. I'm sick of fear-based politics
3. I'm sick of seeing this country's wealth funneled into a war that was started by an idiot and run by the most incompetent individual we've ever had the misfortune to have as SecDef.
4. I'm sick of lobbyists forming public policy
5. I'm sick of government allowing drug companies to charge whatever they want to seniors in the Prescription Drug part of Medicare.
6. I'm sick of being sold down the road by lobbyists.
I want a Government Of the People, By the People, For the People, not a government of the Republicans, for the Republicans and by the Republicans.
I want a President that I am proud to call MY President rather than a backwoods asshole who has embarrassed this country in uncounted ways or the liar McCain has recently turned out to be, someone afraid to address issues who chooses a soccer Mom for Vice President, a woman so totally unprepared and ignorant of national issues that she has to have "Handlers" to protect her from having to answer questions.
We have a RIGHT to question those who run for public office!!!!!!!
The Republican Party is in a shambles and I'm sorry, boys, but you brought it on yourselves by being blind to the needs of the people of this country.

- And I TOLD him at the time, I said "Jimmy, be careful!"
- Not Clinton, not Carter. It was Roosevelt. We were doing just fine under Hoover.
