All of which brings us back the our "ideal" society.
This is the madness that I'm talking about. A multicultural world in the vice like grip of history. We are doomed to drown in the relentless current because of the massive amount of historical and cultural baggage strapped to our backs.
Imagine a world of one racial group, one ethnic group, one language, one set of cultural norms, one economy, one currency, and one goverment. Peace, tranquility, and harmony. Sure problems would crop up from time to time, but nothing like the constant shit storm we find ourselves in on a daily bases here on this over crowded and over burdened world. For me, this is the promise space holds. A galaxy of worlds to immigrate to and the chance to get away from all of those crazy neighbors.
