I've heard when Israel was created, it was meant to be a country with the highest moral standards, especially when their founders had just survived the WW2 genocide and had the message to the world: "Never Again"!

But Israel has never been at peace with all its neighbours. Palestinians didn't ask for what happened. They didn't have high moral standards to claim.
Israelis did.
