That's from the Truman library. It gives an overview of the whole Israel mess. The bottom line is Truman railroaded it through, against US interests, and we've been paying the price in bloodshed and oil and terror ever since.

I have a ton of articles from the period and the reality is no one wanted the Jews, yet after the holocaust something needed to be done, since it was obvious they were unwanted in Europe and here in the States. So Jerusalem was like Timbuktoo and Truman felt it was far enough away that it would get the whole thing out of the US lap.

He was horribly wrong.

As usual.

Truman's the guy who races to use the atom bomb - and not just once but twice. An impulsive idiot. It could have been done in better ways, but again, he was knee-jerk impulsive. And here we are 61 years later still paying for his impulsiveness.

Israel should have been set up somewhere else. The Jewish terrorism of the British in the forties, cursed them and illustrated their fanaticism and violent nature was a mirror image of the Palestinians. So you have two sets of militaristic fanatics going at it - one is far more educated and productive - but it makes no difference when underneath it is a fanaticism that doomed them long before May, 1948.

Religious tenets that condemn others to hells while elevating your followers to heavens are par for the course. Place a nation founded on such a religious concept side by side with another religious nation with the same concept and you have endless war until one side is decimated.

We've been arming Israel to the teeth for decades to atone for Truman's folly. But the days of rocket attacks and grenades is ending. Soon all the US made superiority fighters, submarines and missile defenses in the world will not protect Israel from a Muslim atomic bomb delivered by a fanatic. Israels days are numbered. They are smart enough to know this - but their fanticism and faith doom them.

It not too late to say, "Hey you're supposed to be the smart ones - pack up and set up shop somewhere else" (maybe we can give them US protected lands here in the mainland) And if I were President that is exactly what I would do. The odds are though, some Israelie fanatics would start the terrorism they performed against the British to prevent any leaving of the 'holy' land.

So its important to remember when dealing with religious fanatics risking death for their religion is always more important. In that sense the Israelis are no different than the Muslim suicide bombers.

The mirror principle is at work here.

Death, death and more death - and all because of some bogus stories created to control people - remnants of Babylonian religious hogwash carried by Abraham throughout the Middle East. Clueless ancient Kool-Aid drinkers and their legacy are responsible for hundreds of millions of deaths throughout recorded history.
