the only thing completely obvious in this thread is your dislike of anything Tech.
Nothing wrong with Eri's advice or yours, there is always more to a story than can be fit into a typical post. Still, the fact that an egg is oval remains in spite of other facts about the egg.
Tech's post is not the whole story but there is a lot of truth in the post. You have spoken somewhat kindly about old style conservatives at times. Do you have any doubt that those conservatives would agree with much of the opinion in Tech's post in light of the events that have transpired in the last 60 years.
Was the creation of Israel, as it happened, a good thing? Truman is not solely to blame but the question remains, could he have prevented it from happening? I think I know the answer to the first question, but not the second.
I submit that while you are correct in referencing other sources of information on the subject, any opinion by you on Tech's opinions must be viewed in the light of your total bias regarding Tech. If he posted that the sky is blue, you would find reason to differ.
I have absolutely no problem with this. It happens to the best of us, but lets do call a spade a spade.
