but he's the Senator from TVA country, speaking in Oak Ridge, no less. TVA ain't just about dams, they operate coal and nuke plants too. He's not about to say anything else.

That doesn't mean he's necesarily wrong, or dishonest, just predictable. Boosting big ticket power generation items in his state is his job.
