and this has nothing to do with the topic. In many ways I agree that our nuclear energy capability should grow - maybe not at the pace he's suggesting but countries are stronger when they have diversity in energy.
That said, I notice that often your posts are often titled with "Joe Blow says this" or "John Doe's comments on abortion" and you get into the post and it's nothing but a link.
First of all Tom, often the names you cite mean nothing to me. They could be your aunt or uncle for all I know. When I am bored and decide to actually click on the link I usually find the source is someone on the right side of the political spectrum. My initial reaction when I see that is to discount what you're linking to because it feels like more of the same type of propaganda that you often lay on us.
On this one you cite the rant of a Republican Senator. Wow, a Republican pushing for nuclear power? What a stunning revelation. Could you not find someone considered to be independent or maybe even liberal that sees worth in increasing our nuclear electrical generation capabilities? I know they're out there but my guess is you wouldn't include their input because they might actually bring up some of the problems along with the benefits.
Why should I care a lick what this guy has to say? Is he a nuclear engineer, a scientist, an environmentalist? What special insight does this guy have about energy generation and the strengths and weaknesses of the nuclear industry?
The day you add some balance to the "seminars" you bring to us is the day your credibility index goes from below zero in my eyes.
