"I'm talking about politicians, policy wonks, scientists, and others who damn well should know what the facts are, and are still opposed to nuclear energy as any serious part of the energy problem. You tell me what their motivations are. Al Gore comes to mind."
That is an extraordinary statement, TB. As sweeping and unsupported as the ones you make about those other misguided experts, the climatologists. You have to tell me what you think their motivation is, what they have to gain, or I simply cannot take you seriously. It is just a statement plucked out of thin air.
I never went to Berkely. When I cut my hair, shaved my beard, and went to sell nuclear power plants I was all in favor of them.

- Lamar Alexander calls for more nuclear plants
- I agree
- Just what we need. Waste STILL more money on nuclear power. (n/t)
- Sounds like a good idea, but there needs to be a major educational effort first
- I agree with Lamarr
- I'd like to see 500 reactors built.
- Just a suggestion
