You guys obviously post date the time when Barry D used to entertain us as much as EP. He was even still trying to side with the anti-Cassini crowd. He'd argue naked viruses could survive in space to support the idea that some flu outbreaks in space to validate the idea that space microbes are dangerous, then claim microbes couldn't survive inside Martian meteorites despite evidence to the contrary to counter the claim we've probably already been exposed to Martian organisms if they exist. Any real data on extremophiles was ignored in favor of examples from horror movies. An absolute loon.
