That is, highly unusual objects I could not identify or even suggest that they were ordinary objects seen under unusual circumstances. I have no explanation for them. I've seen other weird things too, things I cannot explain, but these are the strangest.
In the Navy, off the coast of Vietnam, I (and another witness) tracked an object on surface-search radar flying several hundred feet over the surface of the sea at a speed of several thousand miles an hour. It passed within three miles of the ship and was continuously visible for over a hundred miles. There was no sonic boom. The object provided a sharp, distinct radar echo, but no evidence of it was reported by the ship's lookouts. If it was spotted by the spooks manning the air-search radar in CIC they never mentioned it. A friend of mine, also a Navy QM, reported a similar "sighting' in the same area, on another ship, about a year earlier. My best guess was that it was a radar spoofing or jamming device or signal employed by the Chicom military, but that's only speculation.
While observing the sun with a 3" refractor equipped with a neutral-density filter, I spied a small rectangular object cross the disc of the sun at about the angular velocity one would expect from an earth satellite in low earth orbit, or perhaps a very fast high flying aircraft. At first, I was stunned, not sure exactly what I had seen, and I attempted to reconstruct the brief experience from memory while I continued to stare at the solar disc. About twenty seconds later I saw an identical object, another sighting just like the first, and I got a good look at it this time. It was a perfectly rectangular square, roughly 2 0r 3 minutes of arc in size. As far as I can tell, it was identical to the first object. My best guess: two satellites in similar orbits, either preparing to dock or just having separated, and flying identical orbits. But I don't know.
Once, while observing the lunar terminator with the my 4" refractor at about 100x, I noticed what appeared to be a perfectly rectangular structure ( a building, or perhaps a bridge} in a lunar crater. The moon is one of the most intensely studied and photographed astronomical bodies and no one has ever, or since, reported this. I dismissed it as a chance combination of light and shadow that I interpreted as a rectangular structure. But again, I don't know.
I've seen other things too, moving florescent clouds and repetitive, non-moving, strobe-like flashes, which I have interpreted as upper stages venting fuel, or specular reflections off polished metal or glass surfaces on geostationary satellites in orbit. But again, I just don't know.
The point I'm making is that just because you can't definitely identify something, it doesn't mean it has to be an alien spacecraft. Maybe it was. But not necessarily. It could be anything.

- IMO they are most likely secret government projects...
- Assuming the behavior described is accurate, then no, they are unlikely the product of any government on Earth
- Its a misinformation campaign.
- I am referring to the cockpit videos that were taken and released to the public... not un-named sources
- What cockpit videos?
- Take a look:
- Sorry, RL
- ER, they were confirmed as legitimate by the pentagon...

- Well -- it was a clever disguise . . .
