I get your argument

A thought that keeps popping in my head is some form of projection. Not unlike a hologram but somehow with actual mass not just light image. That's why I was thinking along the lines of quantum entanglement. Somehow making it look like something is there; making sensors read something is there, but it is just a projection of some advanced kind. As far fetched as that might seem, it is less far fetched than aliens.
