In the decades you have seen me post here, have I ever been the one pointing to some unknown phenomenon and shouting "IT'S ALIENS!!!"
Nope- and I am not doing so here- I am saying that IF the videos are legitimate and really are showing physical objects behaving in the ways they supposedly did... then it is showing something that seems beyond current human technology, and so we have to seriously consider other options.
I spend a lot of time working around or working on technologies that push the current state-of-the-art of existing non-classified technology- the past 21 years everything I have worked on was an effort to advance technology in one way or another- stuff I worked on in 2000 is only recently finding it's way inside your gaming computer....
I have also seen and worked on technologies that - at the time- were only recently declassified, Like the sodium laser guide star. That was classified for quite a while... until scientists in the non-classified world started to come up with the concept.
I am sure that there are astounding things being worked on in secret, but I am also sure that if it were demonstrated in front of a team of scientists they might be impressed, but they would be able to formulate some ideas about the physical principles behind their operation.
If you took a smart phone back in time and showed it to Tesla, I think he could have come up with some educated and largely correct guesses about the general principles behind it's operation...
Yes the technology appears to be way beyond anything publicly known. That doesn’t mean humans are incapable of discovering it.
I never said that humans are incapable of discovering this technology - I am simply saying that they are incapable of discovering it and demonstrating it like this at this time- ( That leads to the 'explanations just as weird or weirder…' I alluded to above )
I have wracked my brain on this- if I had unlimited funds, and manpower I have an idea that probably could create the appearance of an object that accelerates at incredible rates, has no visible means of propulsion, shows up on radar, can vanish without a trace, and seems immune to the effects of inertia and gravity, totally unaffected by air resistance. I just need space lasers many orders of magnitude more powerful than anything we have built on the ground, a GIGANTIC space telescope again bigger than any telescope built on the ground, and a space infrastructure that would probably be so large you could see it from the surface of the Earth in the daytime...
And it still wouldn't match up with the way these phenomenon look in all the details. There would certainly be no way- even with infinite resources- that I could keep it a secret.
Technological breakthroughs are not necessarily always incremental.
I would say that sometimes conceptual leaps happen, but the implementation of these concepts and turning them into hardware always is incremental- it must be- you can only build upon what has come before.
If someone a century ago had a flash of inspiration and in a single day came up with the full design of a laptop computer- the software the schematic for all of its integrated circuits ...hell, even if they had a map that shows exactly what atoms go where- would that person, even with all the resources available at the time, be able to build a laptop? No... Even if they understood all the principles behind its operation, they would be unable to build a laptop... That capability came to us incrementally- countless 100's of billions of dollars and billions of man-hours was expended to learn how to build the tools to build the tools to build the tools that go into making a laptop.
