A self-proclaimed communist just resigned from the Obama administration. And not because Obama just suddenly found this out. The president knew damn well who this person was, same as he's known every other radical he has worked and lived with. And while probably the only one stupid enough to use the C-word, he's far from the only one in the Democratic heirarchy who believes the same things he does about the role of individuals vs. the state.

We are told that the answer to every last significant problem we face in this country is to increase the power and wealth of the state and decrease the liberty and choices of the citizens. Answers that do not in some way cede more power to the state are discarded out of hand, whether they are workable or not.

Make a list for yourself. Climate. Health care. You name it. Go down it, and look at the solutions presented by the government. Then look at alternative solutions that are ignored or discarded. What do the former have in common? The latter?

The people who currently hold power in Washington are such statists.

It ain't paranoia if it's true.
