No, we're seeing the frustration of people who feel impotent against the government and its co-opted media outlets. TBs crusade is that of a 21st century Paul Revere. With each post you can practically hear him cry out.

"The government is coming! The government is coming!"

The blogosphere is the equivalent of the back halls the founding fathers gathered in late at night to discuss the British government and its oppression.

And if you think TB thinks you are dimwitted - why would he spend so much time making rebuttals to your post? No, he realizes others here see you as his counterpart on the left side of the aisle and if he can get you to acknowledge a point he might have better success getting the people's attention and call to arms.

Paul Revere went down lots of streets crying out the same thing over and over. History has been kind to him so far. Internet Paul Reveres have a tougher time. Grabbing a horse and a lantern, and crying out your message, is still a more effective and lasting form of communication than the internet.
