Locking Thread
As a moderator it appears that this thread has evolved beyond it's usefulness, and have become kind of a shouting match.
Purely as an experiment I am locking this thread down. I would appreciate some input as to whether such moderation is too much and if so is there ever a reason to lock a thread?
I will not be inclined to use this tool often and I will unlock the thread if there is sufficient sentiment to do so
