Paranoia strikes deep, into your heart it will creep, it starts when you're always afraid...

The paranoia is in your posting history, TB, as it has unfolded over the 2-3 years I've been on the Zone. I never said everything libs do is wonderful and everything cons do is phoobah, but the opposite is all you ever talk about. So you have found one bad egg in one of Obama's appointments. Fine, even a blind pig can find water sometimes, but considering how every liberal appointee is scrutinized and vilified it's actually not too bad a record.

But the paranoia is not on the political end, it's right here on the board. Look at your posting on CE here since you began just a week ago. You have initiated 10 provocative political posts in a week, more than everyone else combined, and that is not counting all the aggressive interventions to other people's posts and rebuttals against those who have challenged you. And they are all on the same theme, your campaign to lecture us on how evil the lefties are. (Although leftie is anyone who doesn't accept your program without question). THAT's what I call paranoia, sort of like the paranoid postings on the old board about meteor and cometary impacts and NASA's refusal to drop everything and devote itself to stopping them.

I've initiated no partisan political threads myself on the new Zone; and vowing to try and turn a new leaf, I've made it a point to not take the bait on any of yours, either. I have only responded to direct addresses from you, and I still find myself talking more about politics than I want to. This is what I mean about paranoia, an excessive concern about a perceived threat, to the point where it drives everyone and everything else off so you can monopolize the conversation. Cometary impacts may be a valid threat too, but I sure got tired of hearing about them.

As it is, I will no longer respond to your provocative little thread openers, but when directly challenged on remarks I make to others, I have little choice but to respond in self-defense.
