Spare me the hard-riding powdered wig patriot bullshit. I came to this board to talk and have a good time, not engage in puerile high school debates with Junior Achievement dildoes. I planned to talk about religion, politics, philosophy, art, science, history, culture (high and low) and even personal reminiscences, and to share my writing. Instead what I find is a noisy minority who insists on bombarding the board with an endless string of provocative threads, each one attempting to start a political brawl and monopolize all conversation. I also find that everything I say is monitored for content and jumped on when it is not politically correct. Even neutral comments are often interrupted by segues into remotely connected topics in an attempt to steer the conversation into what you bloody patriots feel should be front and foremost all the time. Well, I can't make you stop, but I can refuse to answer you anymore. Perhaps you've noticed I no longer initiate political threads, or respond to yours unless specifically addressed. Doesn't that tell you something? I expect the same.

While I've been at it, I've been insulted, patronized, interrupted and called at various times an appeaser, coward, traitor, looter, plunderer, communist, fool, and useful idiot. And there has been little or no attempt to compromise, find common ground, or even change the subject. You've succeeded in driving off innumerable good posters and have turned the last board into a brawl, and from what I can see now, you're well on your way to doing the same to this one. How many provocative threads have been opened on CE just this month? Count them. YOU PEOPLE are insatiatble. And you are intolerable. Apparently, you are also desperately insecure.

What makes you think I want to talk with you? You're trolls, boors and bullies and (worst of all in a public forum), you are extremely dull, one-trick ponies. Haven't you figured it out by now, how can I phrase it any clearer? Leave me alone! I do not exist as a foil to test your ideas, I don't want to spar with you. And rest assured, it's not your politics that annoy me. There are many conservatives on this board I get along fine with and who are capable of reasoned and respectful discourse.
