We can talk about Elbert Hubbard and his fascinating take on historic figures or the folly of placing too much weight in spectral analysis while stuck in a world which has a finite set of elements to use as a guide for interpreting data. You'll find the forums have a limit on topic diversity interest left and right, irregardless. So good luck on meaningful responses and exchanges.

I used to discuss all manners of things before the politically correct found my beliefs and the consequences too distateful and horrifying to want to hear and all long before you came to the HZ. Freedom of speech is fine here so long as it follows what other people want to hear, and as soon as it doesn't you find you're mainly wasting time posting to folks who have other interests.

The mirror principle applies here ER. Your smug is so thick they probably need to put an alert out before you visit an area. You draw out Tom with your replies and beg for more. Even your response to me is yet another broadside expecting the return salvo. The best way to shut people up is by not responding.

The boards here have a certain fundamental intellectual capacity. They reverberate at a set level and if a poster exceeds that level it is pretty much ignored. I remember when TB posted on all sorts of things. I remember when I did too. If the old posts get linked to this one with a search you will see that the variety of topics were fascinating and endlessly diverse.

Once this place had an axis shift, suddenly politics became the center of much discussion. Here we are years later seeing the result of all this political feuding. I don't really care if anyone likes me here. If they do...great. If they don't...that's great too.

You don't want to read my posts...join the club and put me on the ignore list. You'll find that even the people you dislike to read are more interesting than reading nothing at all or "attaboy ER..you're so freaking wonderful...please post some more."
