Media, liberals disappointed
For a few days, the media was scrambling to stick this on some disgruntled redneck. Much was made of the video of the white guy taking off his shirt. Mayor Bloomberg said this was probably "home-grown, maybe a mentally deranged person or somebody with a political agenda that doesn't like the health care bill or something."
When the rest of the story became known, you have never seen such a 180-degree PC BatTurn. Now it's all about being careful not to paint a broader group with what this one "loner" did.
