I was amused to see some rightwing talking head on Fox look at the monochrome and grainy surveillance video of the guy changing his shirt nearby and exclaim in outrage, "That's not a white guy!!!!" Seems like the right has a horse in that race, and reading your post, the phrase "methinks the rightie doth protest too much" comes immediately to mind.

Maybe it's the recent examples of domestic terrorism, like that guy who flew an airplane into the IRS building in Texas. Oh, what? It's terrorism when a Muslim flies a plane into a building, but not terrorism when a government-hating rightwinger does it? To pile the irony even higher, that was about a month after the DHS study of domestic terrorism that the right desperately shouted down as just a liberal smear. Let's see you go there, Lee. I'd really love to talk some more about Colonel West and the OathBreakers and the whackjobs going armed to public meetings. Please, try to deny the reality of the threat of domestic terrorism.
