How do I get into the 47% who don't pay taxes? I think that's a crock. The way our taxes work are the same as how raises word. John Q. Worker gets a 3% raise and it increases his $30,000 salary by $900 which probably does not even pay for the increase in the prices of gas and food. While Mr. $200,000 Ubermeister gets a raise of $6,000. The next year raises would be $927 and $6,180 respectively plus Mr. Ubermeister is probably getting bonuses. So the gap widens. Mr. Ubermeister can afford to pay a bit more of that raise in taxes than John Q. Worker.
