Re: Income taxes?

I'm sorry, but you must be making some sort of mistake. All of Bush's tax cuts were for the rich. I was told so here many times. If they go back to their former levels, you shouldn't have a problem.

Cutting medical professional salaries is an essential part of our future nationalized medicine. The sooner they get used to living on what doctors in the Enlightened Nations make, the better.

Sorry. All snark aside, the Congress definitely needs to extend the current tax rates for ALL levels. The Democrats are going to fight this.

The Republicans can't allow the Democrats to define the debate, which includes the lunatic premise that the rich are evil, and that looting the investor class is good for the economy. Another stupid premise that the Democrats shouldn't be allowed to get away with is the idea that deficits are mostly caused by low taxes. We took in enough tax money in 2008 to pay for the 1975 Federal budget twice over. Constant dollars.

The "rich" are not the enemy. As I've proven several times with the numbers, they are the engine of a prosperous economy.
