Ok, so you're right. I know you have the data so what were the tax rates in 1975? And note that US population has increase by almost 90 million people since '75. It follows that some of the increase in spending is due to the increase in population.
Has the percentage of military spending increased since 1975?
Everone knows that government spending has increased but you might want to factor in the increase in what we spend on the military in your figures. And after that, figure per capita spending to be more accurate?
