The tax cuts certainly benefited the rich and, while I disagree with your take on that, I am willing to compromise in order to get the tax cuts for the rest of us. Compromise, an unknown thing to Republicans.
Cutting Medical Professional salaries will mean a lot of Seniors will have to give up their doctors and find it more and more difficult to get in to see doctors, since fewer will be available to them.
The Dems really screwed themselves by trying to cut those salaries. When will they realize that Seniors have a pretty friggin' powerful bloc of votes. And by God, we DO vote! We're retired and we have time and we pay attention. They also screwed themselves on the tax cut issue. Those two items could have made a big difference in the election. That and holding Nancy Pelosi down for the count. She's so far Left, she left. They need to get her out of the power niches and The Dem party isn't coming back until they do.
