<Is it just me... or does it seem that by freeing up water in the poles puts more water in circulation near the equator to offset droughts?
It might very well seem that way. Now, how do you propose getting the salinated ocean water into a usable condition, and then inland where it's needed? Bucket brigade, perhaps?
This is where financial aid comes in handy: for specific projects to improve the lives of people who are willing to work but lack the resources and the capital to improve their lives.
